Slow Foods June 2008

What better way to begin my new blog than sharing my food styling experience last summer! When we ‘foodies’ get together, there is a shared enthusiasm, a zealous excitement over the food everyone connects with. It's a "food thing" I'd say...Click on the video below and check out the Slow Foods Food Styling Workshop of 2008 hosted by Stef Culberson at her Blanchardville, WI farm . Several food stylists and budding food stylists from Minnesota, Milwaukee, Chicago, Kansas and Atlanta came together for a 2 1/2 day workshop. Friday, we began learning about fresh herbs and then spent Saturday AM at the Madison Farmer's Market, by far, one of the best markets in the country! Saturday afternoon and evening, we spent styling and shooting our fresh market goodies, chasing lots of chickens and eating to our heart's content.
