It seems like just last week I posted the End of School Video...where did the summer go?
But I must say, we are all very excited about our new school year. My son has been waiting with great anticipation...he just loves Chesterbrook. It's fun to look ahead with excitement.
Enjoy our first morning Assembly.

Chesterbrook 08-09 Year Over?
I truely can not believe this school year is over! We had an awsome year! Check out the "Year In Review" video. It makes me cry. Enjoy!
Girls Are Just The Best

Don't get me wrong, as the mom of 2 fabulous, smart, not to mention handsome boys, I love them more than life itself...but...I must confess, I love photographing girls. The "girlie" in me gets to come out and play, which is rare in my house. Jessica is such a sweet heart. We shot her First Communion photos last month and she was such a champ! She attends the same school as my kids and every time she sees me, she runs and gives me a huge loving hug, all because I took her pictures...Can't beat that, no way, no how.
I love my job.

"Cutie Pie" Gehrig
Aren't babies just the best? This video is of "Cutie Pie" Gehrig, an adorable 8 month old with the biggest blue eyes and rich red hair. Gehrig is very expressive and turns his head sideways when communicating...I guess to melt the hearts of grown-ups. He sure got mine! The shoot was a lot of fun and I have never laughed, giggled and talked to the screen more than when I edited his photos.
Thank you Amanda and Patrick for allowing me to be apart of your family!

Slow Foods June 2008
What better way to begin my new blog than sharing my food styling experience last summer! When we ‘foodies’ get together, there is a shared enthusiasm, a zealous excitement over the food everyone connects with. It's a "food thing" I'd say...Click on the video below and check out the Slow Foods Food Styling Workshop of 2008 hosted by Stef Culberson at her Blanchardville, WI farm . Several food stylists and budding food stylists from Minnesota, Milwaukee, Chicago, Kansas and Atlanta came together for a 2 1/2 day workshop. Friday, we began learning about fresh herbs and then spent Saturday AM at the Madison Farmer's Market, by far, one of the best markets in the country! Saturday afternoon and evening, we spent styling and shooting our fresh market goodies, chasing lots of chickens and eating to our heart's content. Check out this year's GREEN STYLED FOOD SEMINAR 2009 at http://thegoosechaserfarm.com/reviews.html
